October 2000 Elaine Romero Ms. Romero, Playwright in Residence at the Arizona Theatre Company (ATC), is one of 14 artists nationwide to receive the 1998 TCG/Pew National Theatre Artist in Residence Grant. Ms. Romero shared her journey into researching the facts for the play and her continuing interest in the subject of converso history.
