January 1999 Naomi Diamond, Ph.D. "The Christian Origins of Anti-Semitism"

Dr. Naomi Diamond has taught English in the U. S. at Wellesley College, Ohio State University, the University of Rochester, and the U. of Washington. In Canada, she has been on the faculty of both York University and Ryerson U. at the latter in radio and TV arts and most recently advanced writing. Outside the academy she has been a writer for CBC radio, authoring plays documentaries and docudramas especially on Judaism and Christianity. She gives talks frequently in Toronto, where she now resides (she is a native of Canada) and last year addressed Southern Arizona's Jewish Historical Society on "The Talmud on Trial."

Her topic for Kulanu is "The Christian Origins of Antisemitism," a talk that has already created a stir when given recently in Toronto.
