December 1999 J. Edward Wright, Ph.D. "Ancient Jewish Strategies for Survival"

Dr. J. Edward Wright is Director of the University of Arizona's Near Eastern Studies Department, Committee on Judaic Studies since 2000. Dr. Wright holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Brandeis University, an M.A. from Western Seminary (with honors in Semitic Languages), and a Th.B. from Multnomah Bible College (with honors in Greek). He has had additional graduate studies at Portland State University, The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and Harvard Divinity School. His previous affiliations have been:

He has written numerous books, chapters, and articles, as well as receiving a number of prestigious Academic Fellowships and teaching awards.
