
Amy Hirshberg Lederman is an attorney, writer, Jewish educator and
educational consultant. She has served as the Assistant North American
Director of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School and the Director of
the Department of Jewish Education and Identity for the Jewish
Federation of Southern Arizona.
Lederman received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College, a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona and a Master's Degree in Jewish Education from the Spertus College of Jewish Studies. She recently returned from a year long sabbatical in Israel where she and her family lived and studied in Jerusalem. Lederman was part of an international group of Jewish educators who studied at Hebrew University.
Lederman has presented at numerous conferences, Jewish Federation events, seminars and board retreats throughout the United States. She is a member of the Speaker's Bureau for United Jewish Communities and has published stories in "Chicken Soup for the Jewish Soul", Being Jewish magazine and has a syndicated column, Reflections, in the Arizona Jewish Post.
