Helping Lost Jewish Communities

This website is dedicated to the
memory of Kulanu Southwest members

In December 1995, Israel Rubin, of blessed memory, invited six friends to his home for the purpose of informing them about Kulanu “All of Us,” a group with a unique mission to which he belonged in Maryland. Kulanu is an organization dedicated to finding dispersed remnants of the Jewish people. Kulanu has undertaken a variety of activities on behalf of these dispersed groups, including research, contacts, education, and conversion when requested.

One month later in January 1996, the same group of six gathered around the VCR in Israel Rubin’s living room to watch the documentary, “An Interview with Conversos in the Southwest.” On that day, Kulanu “All of Us,” was born in Tucson, AZ. Between then and 2005, KulanuSW's message reached well over 250 people in the greater Tucson area. Unfortunately, it proved impossible to replace the leadership we had under Israel Rubin and Barbara Rosenblum. Kulanu SW has not met since 2005.
